End of the Line at Harford Mills




The former Lehigh Valley line from Harford Mills to Dryden, 5.6 miles, was abandoned January 5, 1979. Here is the D&H local standing at Route 221 with end-of-track barrier in foreground. The actual end-of-track was behind the camera position a few hundred feet or so, Oct. 6, 1980. The new-of-track at Route 221 was Sept. 30, 2016. Photo by Paul Templeton.
