Conrail Engine at Odessa, N.Y.

 


This shows Conrail serving the Cotton-Hanlon facility in Odessa taken by Paul Templeton about 11 p.m.  on March 31, 1977. Train SI-7 backed is into the lumber shed at Odessa, spotting a load of finished lumber. The shed is still extant but has since been altered where the locomotive entered and is being used for storage by the firm that replaced Cotton-Hanlon. At the time the locomotive had not been repainted.
