Logging Railroad at Honeoye Lake

Little is known of this narrow gauge tram railroad a mile and a half long once existed near the head of Honeoye Lake in the early 1900s with a home-made locomotive. The scene is what was known as "Brigg's Gully." The T. H. Meyers Lumber Company worked this area for timber for about 10 years.  The company had three saw mills, including one at the north end of the lake. Another mill and tram line existed at Reynolds Gull (or "Gully") at nearby Springwater with another logging railroad.
