About 1971 the Erie-Lackawanna gained trackage rights over the Lehigh Valley Rochester Branch via connections with the Lehigh at MP 388.2 and MP 390.7 so that they could abandon their tracks between those two points. The connections were termed Crittenden Road and River Jct. In November 1972 the LVRR abandoned the Rochester yard and that portion of the Rochester Branch compass north of River Jct. A new terminal at Crittenden Road was thereafter established. The Lehigh Valley track from the yard to the Station on Court Street was abandoned after passenger service ended September 6, 1950.
